12	01	22	From today, December 1, Mr. Ali and Mr. Eslam became project assistant professors in the Department of Energy Science, Faculty of Science and Engineering.
			Dr. Satoshi Koizumi (National Institute for Materials Science, Group Leader, NIMS) and Dr. Hitoshi Umezawa (National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Senior Researcher) gave a lecture titled "Diamond Vapor Phase Synthesis and Semiconductor Device Application", hosted by our laboratory, as an intensive lecture of the Major of Device Science and Engineering. It seems that graduate students have learned a lot from the extremely deep lectures.
			Mr. Ali and Mr. Eslam started research in our laboratory as postdoctoral researchers. They will continue to develop the research that they have done so far.
09	24	22	Today, the 2021 Fall Commencement Ceremony was held at Chikushi Hall of our campus. Mr. Ali and Mr. Eslam were awarded doctoral degrees.
08	06	22	Today, Mr. Ali and Mr. Eslam had their doctor thesis defenses greatly! The presentations can be watched from the following sites.
08	05	21	On Ausust 6, Ali-san (D3) and Eslam-san (D3) will have doctor thesis defenses online.
04	30	21	It was the last day for Zhao-san in our lab. She is going to leave for Shanghai Jiao Tong University on May 2. We opened a report meeting of her research in KU and a farewell tea-party.

03	24	21	Today, the confirment ceremony of our university was held ona ruduced scale due to COVID-19. To our happiness, Hamasaki-kun and Morita-kun received grad school award and department award, respectively. Our lab opened a farewell party online.
02	02	21	Zhao-san, a campus Asian student from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, arrived at Japan. We will be conducting a mater thesis research in our laboratory for several months.
