• Our grad school prepares Intellectual Exchange and Innovation Program with the MEXT scholarship for DC candidate students coming from Middle east and Africa.
• Our lab students became the host of JSAP Kyushu Student Chapter. From now on, they will conduct their own activities. The chapter will have collaborations with JSAP Kyushu Young Chapter.
• By combining the coaxial arc plasma deposition method with a quasi-DC bias apparatus that we developed, we succeeded in growing a nanodiamond film (named Q-dia) with a hardness approaching that of polycrystalline diamond in a room temperature process. We are looking for various applications.
